Here we will show how to fight in
Way of the Samurai 2.

Kick -------------------------------------------
・Small kick
・Big kick
・Jump kick

●Like Way of the Samurai, there are
only 3 types of kicks.
It is easiest to surprise enemies with a
jump kick from behind.

Throw -------------------------------------------
●The moves that can be done are
based on the weapon being used.

Slash -------------------------------------------
・Tate-giri
・Yoko-giri

●There are basically two types of slashing attacks, the Tate-giri and the Yoko-giri.
But depending on the buttons the player pushes, there are several variations of these attacks.

Stab -------------------------------------------
●This type of attack is not very different
than the slash attacks except that there
are less variations of it.
The long reach of the stabbing attack is
one of its biggest advantages.

Defense -------------------------------------------
●Players are able to defend themselves
with the push of a single button.
One against many ---------------------------------

●When surrounded by enemies, the samurai can perform a special move
that will defeat them all at once.

●About the Two Swords style of fighting ----------------

●It seems that the "Ni-ten Ichi-ryu" style mainly comes from the teachings of the famous swordsman,
Miyamoto Musashi. The controls for this style are discussed in detail on the Official Website.

1.「Defense」

●By crossing your swords and pointing them towards the enemy's eyes, it makes it harder for
them to see the lengths of the blades. Plus, it closes some of the holes in your defense,
making it fairly difficult to attack. It is easier to block an attack with the swords crossed than with
ust one sword because the two swords support each other. You can also completely lower your right
sword to hide it, but doing this for too long will sap your strength and also allow your opponent
to read your next move, so the crossed swords stance is probably the best.

1.「Attacks」

●The second attack coming right after the first attack is one of the most frightening things
about the Two Swords style of fighting. In reality, having both swords attack in parallel
is what you would want to do. Also, there was a technique where you would stop mid-move
and use the deadweight of your sword to counterattack. (Sasaki Kojiro's counterattack,
"Tsubame-gaeshi (Swallow Counter)" is basically the same idea. It seems that
master swordsmen of the same timeperiods have similar ways of thinking.)
The Two Swords style of using a sword in each hand was based a lot on
Musashi's great physicalstrength and power and therefore is rarely seen in use.
